WWE Elimination Chamber takes place tonight live at from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and will be the final stop on the road to WrestleMania. Tonight’s event will provide a better idea of some of the other matches fans can expect to see at WrestleMania.

On the Raw side of things, WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will be focused on the women’s Elimination Chamber match as she will be defending her title against the winner at WrestleMania. Liv Morgan, Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan, Asuka, Natalya, and Shayna Baszler will compete for the opportunity to challenge Lynch however, the way the match has been built up on Raw each week pretty much makes Baszler winning a sure thing.

Baszler made her Raw debut by attacking Lynch and putting the wheels in motion for a rivalry between the two. Since then, Lynch has only really been focused on Baszler, leaving the rest of the competitors in the match being viewed as an afterthought and a temporary program in the leadup to Lynch vs Baszler at WrestleMania. There have been some surprises though as the former members of The Riott Squad; Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, and Sarah Logan, have all turned on one another, which could lead to an interesting feud heading into WrestleMania.

The Tag Team Elimination Chamber match is a lot more intriguing and least predictable of the two as there are a lot more possible scenarios. SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Miz and John Morrison defend their titles against The New Day, The Usos, Heavy Machinery, Lucha House Party, and Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.

The rivalry between Dolph Ziggler and Otis has been brewing leading up to this match and fans will want to keep an eye on that as the match progresses. Ziggler and Robert Roode will be entering the match last after winning the gauntlet match two nights ago on SmackDown, which gives them a slight advantage especially in this type of matchup. With Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville involved in the rivalry, it would make sense for Ziggler to eliminate Otis and Tucker in the match to get fans even more invested in Otis when he eventually wrestles Ziggler one-on-one.

Another interesting scenario in this match could be new champions being crowned resulting in John Morrison turning on The Miz. Since Morrison’s return to the company was made official, not many would have expected him to team with Miz right away however, the reunion could be used as a way to build up a potential WrestleMania match between the two.

Miz and Morrison’s careers have taken different paths since Miz turned on Morrison a decade ago; Miz won the Money in the Bank, had multiple Intercontinental and United States title reigns, won the WWE Championship, main evented WrestleMania against John Cena, and became one of the most consistent performers of the decade. Morrison on the other hand wrestled around the world in promotions like Lucha Underground and Impact Wrestling, where he became World Champion and crafted an excellent career outside WWE.

Morrison turning on Miz would be more ideal because they could bring up how Miz referred to himself as the Shawn Michaels of their team and Morrison as the Marty Jannetty and have Morrison being jealous of Miz’s accomplishments and wanting to prove once and for all that he was the real star and the better of the two.
