FOOTBALL

Tom Brady is unstoppable on Monday Night Football. Marking his 18th career MNF game win, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the New York Giants. The game ended on a controversial note, however, when the referees threw a flag for pass interference against the Bucs on a two-point conversion attempt by the Giants. The two-points would have tied the game, but the refs reversed their decision giving the Bucs a 25-23 win.

BASEBALL

Jon Lester may or may not be playing for the Chicago Cubs next season, as the team declined the $25 million option on his contract. Lester has been with the team for 6 years and wanted to show appreciation to the fans, so he tweeted last week that he'd pay for one Miller Lite per fan at four bars in the Chicago area. By the end of the day, he spent over $47,000 for 4,838 Miller Lites.
