This past month has been quite eventful for UFC President Dana White. After UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov was ineligable to defend his title against Tony Ferguson due to travel restrictions, Dana had to act quickly and instead of postponing the bout to later this year, he decided to set up an interim Lightweight Championship bout between Ferguson and Justin Gaethje for next Saturday, May 9.

That's not all as the promotion will be carrying on with two more events this coming week; Wednesday, May 13th and Saturday, May 16th, and plan on continuing with another event each week in order to make up for the previously scheduled events that had been postponed or cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The May 13th fight card is as followed:

Anthony "Lionheart" Smith vs Glover Teixeira (Main Event)

Ben Rothwell vs Ovince Saint Preux

Alexander Hernandez vs Drew Dober

Karl Roberson vs Marvin Vettori

Sijara Eubanks vs Sarah Moras

Andrei Arlovski vs Philipe Lins

Brian Kelleher vs Hunter Azure

Thiago Moises vs Michael Johnson

Ray Borg vs Ricky Simon

May 16th fight card:

Alistair Overeem vs Walt Harris (Main Event)

Edson Barbosa vs Dan Ige

Kevin Holland vs Anthony Hernandez

Claudia Gadelha vs Angela Hill

Eryk Anders vs Krzysztof Jotko

Darren Elkins vs Nate Landwehr

Mike Davis vs Giga Chikadze

Don'Tale Mayes vs Rodrigo Nascimento

Mara Romero Borella vs Courtney Casey

It'll be interesting to see what other fights the promotion has in store for future events and PPVs for June as well as their annual International Fight Week PPV in July, which usually features a star studded fight card.
