The Toronto Rock came out swarming to beat the only remaining undefeated squad, and take top spot in the division with a commanding 14-9 win over Georgia on Friday night.

Kieran McAdrle scored a highlight reel goal to put the Rock up 2-0, and they weren’t done there.

Toronto racked up a 4-0 lead and never trailed even though the Swarm outscored the home team.

Shayne Jackson got the Swarm on the board beating the Rock’s defense. Lyle Thompson scored on a penalty shot to pull the Swarm to within two, and Jackson scored a shorthanded goal in the second, but it wasn’t enough.  Toronto held a 7-5 lead at the half.

In the third, both team scored three goals each to keep things interesting, including two quick goals by Lyle Thompson scoring multiple goals within minutes of each other to keep the Swarm in it.  Brock Sorensen's empty netter with just over a minute in the game was enough to seal the deal with a 14-9 win.

Nick Rose made 40 saves on the night, while Rob Hellyer, Challen Rogers Linter and Adam Jones each had two goals on the night.  Dan Craig led the team with three goals.
