The Toronto Maple Leafs scored three goals in four minutes with a back and forth battle beating the Ottawa Senators 5-4 on Wednesday night.

Zach Hyman opened the scoring in the first when he tipped a pass from Mitch Marner to make it 1-0 Leafs.

Magnus Paajarvi got the Sens on the board at 17:18 of the first, while Matt Duchene added another to put the Sens up 2-1.

Andres Johnsson, Auston Matthews, and John Tavares scored within four minutes to make it 4-2 for Toronto.

Thomas Chabot scored just 40 seconds into the third, while Paajarvi added his second of the night at 3:59 to tie the game at 4 apiece.

Morgan Rielly broke the tie midway through the third after starting a rush on a Senators turnover, passed to Hyman and then took Hyman’s pass and put it behind the net for his 14th goal of the year.  This was his career high 53rd point of the year. With the win, the Leafs handed Ottawa their fifth straight loss, and win their third in a row.
