Vinnie Hinostroza scored the game winner, while goalie Darcy Kuemper made 26 saves for the Coyotes, who are now 8-0-1 in their last nine trips to the six.   

John Tavares and Travis Dermott both scored for the Leafs, who have now lost their last seven of 10.  Frederik Andersen made 27 saves in the loss. The Leafs are now 13-11-1 at home.

 Toronto opened the scoring at 11:45 of the frist frame, when Dermott drilled a shot from the point through traffic to make it 1-0 Leafs. William Nylander assisted on the goal. 

Mario Kempe answered for Arizona at 2:16 of the second with a deke netting his third of the year stickiside to make it 1-1.  Leafs Coach Mike Babcock challenged for an offside call, but the goal stood. 

Clayton Keller gave the Yotes their first lead of the game with 4:41 left in the period when he ripped a shot shortside on Andersen for his 11th of the year to make it 2-1.

Down 2-1 in the third, Tavares netted his 30th of the year at 3:12 after firing a quick shot off of Zach Hyman’s faceoff win.  The goal was assisted my Mitch Marner.

With the game tied early in the third, HInozstroza buried his fifth of the year at L644 off a scramble in front of the net with Andersen down to make it 3-2.

Lawson Crouse hit the empty netter with just 40 seconds left in the game to make it 4-2.
