Tampa score 2 in 12 seconds to down Islanders 4-1

Tampa Bay lead series 3-1

There was no scoring in the first, but 11:37 into the second period Brock Nelson beat Vasilevskiy to make it 1-0.

Tampa Bay got 2 goals in 12 seconds with Blake Coleman scoring just 15 seconds after Brock Nelson and Ondrej Palat scored to make it 2-1 midway through the second. 

There would be no more scoring till the third period when Brayden Point scored just 4 minutes into the third to make it 3-1. Patrick Maroon would add an empty netter to make the final score 4-1. 

Anderi Vasilevskiy made 24 saves and Semeyon Varlamov made 32 saves. 

The New York Islanders outhit The Tampa Bay Lightning 47-45. 

The Tampa Bay Lightning went 0-4 on the man advantage and The New York Islanders also went 0-4 on the man advantage. 

Game 5 of this series will be on Tuesday Septmeber 15th at 8pm EST/ 5pm CST.
