Tampa Bay Wins Series 4-2

The New York Islanders started off the scoring in this one, with a wrap around from Devon Toews just 4 minutes into the first period. Two minutes later Victor Hedman scores from the slot to make it 1-1 midway through the first period. 

There was no other goals in regulation, so game 6 needed overtime. Tampa Bay started off the period with a double minor powerplay, but couldn't get anything going. 

Midway through the overtime period Anthony Cirelli puts one in the back of the net, his third of the playoffs, to give Tampa Bay the 2-1 win. Tampa Bay will now play The Dallas Stars in the Stanley Cup finals to see who will hoist The Stanley Cup. 

The Tampa Bay Lightning outshot The New York Islanders 47-27

Semyon Varlamov made 46 saves, Andrei Vasilevskiy made 26 saves. 

The New York Islanders outhit The Tampa Bay Lightning 62-40
