It’s the last Thursday Night game of the NFL season, and what better way to close out the TNF schedule than with one hell of an AFC West showdown.

Hunter Henry, who has been SOLID this season in all the games he hasn’t played,  is expected to GO OFF tonight for the Chargers. Also look out for Chargers linebacker Derrick Johnson, who was let go from the team in March, but is expected to play too, I guess. Spencer Ware who has no shoulder and hamstring is expected to go HAM tonight too.  All stats were courtesy of Stephen A Smith.

Remember kids, preparation is everything.

Moving on…

The 10-2 Chargers are in Kansas City to play Patrick Mahomes, his bionic arm and the 11-2 Chiefs.  Kansas City has a one game lead in the race for the AFC West title, and both teams are looking to end up with the best record in the AFC.

Chargers QB Philip Rivers has thrown 14 interceptions and nine TS passes against the Chiefs in the last nine meetings, but the last time these two played, Rivers was 34 of 51 for 424 yards and a loss.

The Chargers will have Joey Bosa, who Coach Lynn said had no limitations, so expect the Chargers defense to be fired up. The Chiefs also have a defensive piece coming back, with Eric Berry expected to make his season debut for a Kansas City defense that’s allowing 27 points and 409 yards per game.

There are some key pieces that could be missing for the Chargers tonight. Melvin Gordon is listed as questionable for tonight, while Austin Ekeler, who suffered a head injury Sunday, is out.

The Chargers are the losers of four straight at Arrowhead Stadium, but with a shot at the AFC West crown on the line, anything is possible.
