NFL Week 3 Picks:

We are going to kick off our week 3 selections with some juicy underdogs.

Baltimore +7 at Kansas City:

The Chiefs have picked up where they left off last year offensively making it look too easy in the passing game against both Jacksonville and Oakland. The Chiefs do have some flaws as they are currently struggling to run the ball, which will not get any easier facing the Ravens stout run defense. Last year Patrick Mahomes stated his MVP case with an outstanding performance against Baltimore throwing for 377 yards and 2 touchdowns but needed to rally his team late to get by Baltimore 27-24. The biggest difference is Lamar Jackson is much more polished now than he was at any point last season and with an improved passing game featuring "Hollywood" Brown and Mark Andrews the Ravens are poised to once again give the Chiefs everything they can handle. Take the points. Baltimore +7

Detroit +7 at Philadelphia:

Who saw the Lions undefeated heading into week 3? After an impressive win against the Chargers the Lions head on the road to face a beat up Eagles team. Philadelphia has some issues. Carson Wentz took a beating in Atlanta and a bad shot to the ribs that forced him to miss time. Both Desean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery were forced out of Sunday nights game and neither are expected to play. So a beat up Wentz minus his top 2 receivers is a big issues. The Eagles have been favoured twice this season and have not covered in either game. All signs point to a close game so if you know my style you know I am taking the points!! Lions +7

Carolina -2.5 at Arizona:

I told anyone who would listen to me that Cam Newton WAS NOT healthy watching him struggle last Thursday in Tampa Bay. There is no way the Panthers would have three 4th down situations and not have Newton run the ball on any of them. On 4th and 1 for the game they ran a trick play to Christian McCaffrey and lost the game. Now Newton is in a boot and not expected to play. Carolina is done. With out the former MVP there season is over just like it was last year once he got hurt. Give Kyler Murray credit. He looks great and is able to make plays through the air and with his feet. The Cards competed in Baltimore last week which showed me they are not last years Cardinals. Kirk, and Fitzgerald are making plays and the Cards should win this game outright!! Cardinals +2.5

Good luck and enjoy the games.
