Picking up a new franchise record of 26 road wins in a season.

And so this is it. The Toronto Raptors last game of the regular season. This is always bitter sweet for a fan of the game. In the regular season you know their (NBA Team) will have a guaranteed 82 games and you know the schedule well in advance. Come Playoffs, you are excited that they are playing for the championship but also a littler nervous, as if they don’t win best 4/7 games in each round then they are done. But then again if you don’t have a favorite team, and you are just a fan of the game then you’re okay.

Toronto was in Minnesota playing again the Timberwolves whose season will end come Thursday as they are currently in 11th(11 games behind the Clippers who are in 8th).

Minnesota doesn’t give up on the season just yet and go on a 8-0 run in the opening quarter. Danny Green blocks Luol Deng and is second in blocks amongst guards with per game. Green finished with  7 pts, 4 ast and 2 reb.  Although not a great game, a good one. Guess he is saving his energy for the first round of Playoffs.

Kawhi Leonard would play in this game as Karl Anthony Towns would sit out due to injury. Towns was having a great season and hopes that the Timberwolves can find “stable coaching this summer”.  On the court came Canadian Chris Boucher (Bonjour Boucher) for the Raptors who would put up 11 pts in ten minutes in the second quarter alone and finished the game with a double double 15 pts & 13 reb. This looked like a team that would do well in the post season and went on a 20-5 run to end the half.

Come the third quarter, it didn’t look like any starts would check back in as they were up by twenty points. Checking into the game was Jodie Meeks who took out Van Vleet. You cannot forget about Andrew Wiggins who is the Timberwolves franchise player. Wiggins (Canadian) put up a team high 16 pts.

The Timberwolves couldn’t put up enough points as they fall twenty short of the Raptors. It’s nice to win your last game before the post season and I think Toronto needs this to ensure they have a good start to the Playoffs.

Now we wait! Playoffs start this coming Saturday and schedules will be out Thursday as the last game of the regular season is Wednesday night. There will be twenty-two teams playing so soak it in and get ready!
