I'm thinking Philly needs to do more than “trust the process” if they want to move onto the Conference Finals.

This may be the most entertaining series in the Eastern Conference (aside from Toronto and Milwaukee playing in the conference finals). There is a lot riding on this first game as it sets the tone for the rest of the series. Guess who came back and this time came in the first quarter...Drake! He really wants to prove he isn’t a sport teams worst nightmare and that the “Drake curse’ isn’t real. Other celebrities at the game were Golden Globe winner Elisabeth Moss, hit recording artist and Juno winner Shawn Mendes, the “Maple Mamba” aka the next Michael Jordan, R.J Barrett and Blue Jays third baseman Vlad “Vlady” Guerrero Jr.

(Jump Ball)

Kawhi brings the Dino’s back and within one point with a fade-away jumper after a one handed slam dunk. Leonard and Siakam make up all of Toronto’s first 11 pts.

Fun ( not so fun) fact: Philadelphia native rapper, Meek Mill tried to come up to Toronto from Philadelphia to watch this game but his judge ignored his request. Meek was sent to jail for a crime he didn’t commit. He is still on parole and seems this judge isn’t a fan of the rapper.

Jodie Meeks checks in for Leonard with Nader a minute to play in the first quarter and you could see some fans scratching their heads because Leonard was on a roll putting up 17/37 points for Toronto.

The fans were cheering and booing so loudly  I couldn't even hear myself think. For example, when the referee's called an offensive foul on Gasol when Embiid clearly has his leg high in the air.  Gasol came back with fury and with the assistance of Leonard through down a two handed flush with under a minute to play in the half.

Toronto dominated the first half. Even though Philadelphia were only my behind  9 pts, it was all Toronto ball taking full control. Leonard put up a career high first half 27 pts and 7 reb in the  first twenty-four minutes alone.

JJ Reddick disagrees with referee Ken Mauer (who has been in the league for 33 years) on a call and receives the common foul as well as the tech. Leonard would shoot the tech getting nothing but net.

Leonard wrestles his way through the paint and dishes it out to Danny Green who is waiting in front of his bench to drain a three ball forcing Philadelphia head coach Brett Brown to call a timeout. 76ers trail by sixteen and haven’t led since 9:01 in the first frame.

All of the 76er’s starters finished with double digits and some even with a double double. But, that couldn't stop Leonard who was unstoppable ,literally unstoppable. He was draining shots with Harris glued to him and his hand in Leonard's face. Oh my ,I changed my decision if Toronto keeps playing like this they will take this series in four and sweep the Philadelphia 76ers.

With three minutes to play, the bench comes on the the starters get a standing ovation as they walk off. This was a fast game proving to the rest of the league that there should be no more memes about the Raptors playing like Barney the dinosaur.

Raptors win! Raptors win!
