Series Tied at 2 games
The Tampa Bay Rays complete the comeback against The LA Dodgers to win game 4 and tie the series up at 2-2.
The Dodger's started the scoring off in the first inning, with a solo homerun from Justin Turner. Corey Seager hit a solo homerun to right field in the 3rd inning to make it 2-0.
Randy Arozarena hit a solo homerun for Tampa Bay to cut the Dodger's lead to 2-1. Max Muncy extended the Dodger's lead to 3-1 in the 5th inning, but was thrown out at second base. In the bottom half of the 5th Hunter Renfroe hit a solo shot to left field to make it 3-2.
In the 6th inning, Enrique Hernandez hit an RBI double to left field to make it 4-2 for the Dodgers. In the bottom half of the 6th Brandon Lowe hit a three-run homerun to center field, to give Tampa Bay their first lead of the game 5-4.
The Dodger's would come right back in the 7th inning, as Joc Pederson singled to right field to score 2 more runs to give The Dodger's the lead at 6-5. Kevin Kiermier would homer in the bottom half of the 7th to tie up the game at 6-6.
In the 8th, Corey Seager hit an RBI single to left center field, to give the Dodger's the lead 7-6.
In the bottom of the 9th, Tampa Bay down to their final out, Brett Phillip's delivered with a two run walk off single to give Tampa Bay the 8-7 win. Chris Taylor committed an error on the play, which scored Randy Arozarena all the way from first base.
John Curtiss got the win for Tampa Bay, his first win in the playoffs, while Kenley Jansen got the loss and the blown save, his first loss in the postseason.
Jose Urias started this game for The Dodgers going 4.2 innings, giving up four hits, two earned runs, while walking one and striking out nine. For Tampa Bay, Ryan Yarbrough went 3.1 innings, giving up five hits, two earned runs, while walking one and striking out one batter.
The top performers in this one were Corey Seager as he went 4/5, with one homerun and two RBI's, along with three runs scored and Randy Arozarena as he went 3/4 with a homerun and one RBI, along with three runs scored and a walk.
The LA Dodgers outhit The Tampa Bay Rays 15-10.
The LA Dodgers left 10 runners on base, while Tampa Bay left 5 runners on base.
