Toronto Blue Jays @ Rangers

The Texas Rangers defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 10-2 on Sunday afternoon at Globe Life Park in Arlington.

Shin—Soo Choo went 3-for-4 with one RBI to lead the Rangers (16-16) offensively

Kyle Dowdy (2-1) earned the victory despite allowing one hit in two innings pitched. Drew Smyly started the game, allowing two hits and one earned run across four innings.

Eric Sogard continues his offensive tear for the Blue Jays (15-19) and went 1-for-3 and walked once.

Clay Buckholz (0-2) was beat up with eight hits and seven earned runs in four innings of play.

The Rangers junkies out to a 3-0 lead in the second inning thanks to an Asdrubal Cabrera two-run double and a Rougned Odor notched his second homer of the season.

Sogard knocked a solo home run in the third inning to trim the deficit, however, it proved ineffective as Texas proceeded to score seven unanswered runs.

The Rangers walked way with a 10-2 victory after Rowdy Tellez singled to score Justin Smoak in the seventh inning.

Toronto will return home on Monday for a matchup with the Minnesota Twins (20-11). First pitch is set for 7:07 p.m.
