Tampa Bay Advances To World Series with 4-2 Win In Game 7

Rays Win Series 4-3

The Tampa Bay Rays defeated The Houston Astro's 4-2 to advance to the world series. 

Randy Arozarena hit a 2 run homerun to right center field to give Tampa Bay the 2-0 lead in the first inning. The very next inning, Mike Zunino hit a solo homerun to left field to make it 3-0. In the 6th inning Mike Zunino hit a sacrifice fly to center field to  make it 4-0. 

Houston tried to make a comeback in the later innings, Carlos Correa ended up reaching on an infield single which scored two runs. That made it 4-2 going into the 9th inning. That's all the scorig in this one, as Tampa Bay clinches there first World Series since 2008 with the 4-2 win. 

Lance McCullers took the loss in this one, shooting 3.2 innings, giving up four hits, three earned runs, one walk and seven strikeouts. For Tampa Bay Charlie Morton was on the hill, he threw 5.2 innings, giving up only two hits, no runs, one walk and struck out six. Pete Fairbanks got his 3rd save of the playoffs going 1.1 innings, giving up two hits, walked one and struck out three. 

The Rays will find out who they will be playing tomorrow night, it will either be between The Dodgers and The Braves. 

World Series game 1 will be on Tuesday, time is TBD.
