Rays Take 2-0 Series Lead

The Tampa Bay Rays win Game 2 of the ALCS 4-2. A three run homerun off the bat of Manuel Margot got the game started in the first inning. A late solo homerun from Mike Zunino in the 7th sealed the win for Tampa Bay. 

For Houston, a solo homerun by Carlos Correa cut the lead down to 2 in the 6th inning. In the 9th George Spriner grounded into a double play to make it 4-2, but it wasn't enough to give Houston the win in this one. 

For Tampa Bay Charlie Morton went 5 innings, giving up 5 hits and only 1 walk. This improves Morton's record to 2-0 in these playoffs. Nick Anderson notched his first save in the postseason going 1 inning, giving up 3 hits, 1 earned run and walked 2 batters. 

For Houston Lance McCullers went for 7 innings giving up 4 runs (1 earned) and no walks. 

Houston had 10 hits in this one, Tampa Bay had 4 hits. 

Game 3 will be played tomorrow night at 8:40pm EST/ 5:40pm CST.
