Rays Take A 3-0 Series Lead

The Tampa Bay Rays take game 3 of the ALCS with a 5-2 win over The Houston Astros. The Tampa Bay Rays now take a 3-0 series lead and are one game away from advancing to the World Series. 

For Tampa Bay, there offence didn't get going till the 6th inning, but Joey Wendle hit an RBI single to left field to give Tampa Bay there first run of the game, WIlly Adames got hit by a pitch and Hunter Renfroe hit a 2 run double to give Tampa Bay a five run 6th inning. That's all they needed to secure the win in this game. 

For Houston Jose Altuve hit a solo homerun in the first inning, and Michael Brantley hit a solo homerun in the bottom of the 6th. That was all the offence that Houston could muster tonight. 

Diego Castillo notched the save in this one, going 1 inning, no hits, no runs and 2 walks. This is Castillo's 1st save of this series, second of the postseason.  

Jose Urquidy went 5 innings, giving up  4 hits, 2 runs (1 earned), and walking 1 batter. 

Ryan Yarbrough went 5 innings, giving up 3 hits, 2 earned runs and 2 walks. 

The Tampa Bay Rays had 8 hits tonight, while The Houston Astros  

Game 4 will be taling place tomorrow night at 8:40pm/ 5:40pm CST.
