Dodger's Double Up The Rays In Game 5 With A 4-2 Win

Dodgers Lead Series 3-2

The LA Dodger's took Game 5 from The Tampa Bay Ray's with a 4-2 win. 

The Dodger's started off the scoring in this one, with a Corey Seager single to right field, and Cody Bellinger reached on an infield single, Corey Seager scored on the play to make it 2-0 after the first inning. 

Joc Pederson hit a solo homerun to center field to make it 3-0 for the Dodgers. Tampa Bay would end up making a little comeback in the 3rd inning, thanks to a Yandy Diaz RBI triple, and a Randy Arozarena RBI single made it 3-2 in the 3rd inning. 

The Dodger's would tack on one more run thanks to a Max Muncy solo homerun in the 5th inning to make it 4-2. 

That's how the game would end as The Dodgers take Game 5 4-2. 

Clayton Kershaw started for The Dodger's as he went5.2 innings, giving up five hits, giving up two runs, while walking two, and striking out six. Tyler Glasnow went 5 innings for Tampa Bay, giving up six hits, while giving up four runs, while walking three and striking out seven. 

Blake Treinen got the save for The Dodger's going one inning, while giving up one hit, and striking out two. 

The Ray's outhit the Dodger's 7-6.

The Dodger's left six runners on base, while Tampa Bay left five runners on base.  

The top performers in this game were, Max Muncy going 2/3 with a homerun and one RBI, as well as one walk and one run scored. Yandy Diaz was the other top performer, going 2/3 with one run scored, and an RBI.

Game 6 will be played on Tuesday October 27th at 8:08pm EST/ 5:08PM CST
