Ray's Lead Series 3-2

The Houston Astro's were able to stay alive with a 4-3 win over The Tampa Bay Ray's in game 5 of this series. The Astro's scored first in this one, with the first batter of the game (George Springer) going deep to left field to make it 1-0 early in the first inning. 

In the 3rd inning, Brandon Lowe hit a solo shot to center field, to tie the game at 1-1. In the bottom half of the inning, Michael Brantley it a 2 run single to right field to make it 3-1. 

Tampa Bay would come back with two solo shots, one in the 5th inning by Randy Arozarena, and one in the 8th inning by Ji-Man Choi, to make it 3-3 late in the game. 

In the bottom of the 9th with one out, Carlo's Correa would step up, and hit a walkoff homerun to center field to give Houston the 4-3 win. 

Ryan Pressly got his first victory in this year's playoffs, and Nick Anderson took the loss for Tampa Bay, his first loss in this year's playoffs. 

Both The Astro's and The Ray's used an opener in this one, Tampa came out with John Curtiss, and Houston matched him with Luis Garcia. Curtiss fired 1.1 innings, one hit, one earned run, one walk and two strikeouts. Luis Garcia fired two innings, no hits, no runs, two walks and one strikeout. 

The Houston Astro's had 6 hits, while The Tampa Bay Rays had 7 hits.
