Astro's Force A Game 7 with 7-4 Win Over The Tampa Bay Rays

Series Tied 3-3

The Houston Astro's have forced a game 7 against The Tampa Bay Ray's with a 7-4 win. 

Tampa Bay started off the scoring, thanks to a Willy Adames RBI double to center field. Houston's big three came thriough in the fifth inning. George Springer reached on an infield single to score Lourdes Gurriel, that tied the game at 1-1.

Jose Altuve, hit an RBI double which scored Springer to make it 2-1. Two batters later Carlos Correa singled to left, Altuve and Brantley scored to make it 5-1. Houston would continue to score runs including a 6th inning solo shot from Kyle Tucker. 

In the 7th inning Michael Brantley sin gled to shallow centre to score Altuve, and Kyler Tucker hit a sacrifice fly to make it 7-1. 

In the bottom half of that inning Manuel Margot hit a solo shot to left center to cut the Houston lead by one. Maegot's next at-bat would come in the bottom of the 8th where he would hit a two run homer, his second of the game to cut the lead to 7-4. 

That's how the game would stay, as Houston wins 7-4, to force a game seven. 

Blake Snell started for Tampa Bay, he went four innings, giving up three hits, two earned runs, while walking four and striking out four. 

Framber Valdez started for Houston, he went six innings, giving up three hits, one earned run, walked three and struck out nine. 

Houston had 11 hits, and Tampa Bay had 6 hits. 

Game 7 will be played tomorrow night at 8:37pm EST/ 5:37pm CST.
