NFL Picks

Coming off a 1-2 week, our first losing week in who knows how long we look to bounce back in 12.

I must say this is a very tough week so tread lightly.

Saints +2 @ Rams: Last week the Rams losing at Minnesota was a mistake by us but we are going right back to the first place Los Angeles team in this spot. The Rams are angry and back at home. The Saints have been an amazing story reeling off 8 straight wins after an 0-2 start but last week was not pretty. New Orleans needed to come back from 15 points down with under 3 minutes to go as a double digit home favourite vs Washington. The Saints are due for a loss and if they fall behind this team the Rams defense will make Drew Brees pay something Washington was unable to do. I expect a motivated Rams team to bounce back. Pick: Rams

Browns +7.5 @ Bengals: I don't love laying this many points but the Browns stink. Not only are they winless but they have covered just 2 games all season!! The Bengals are getting better and have owned the Browns for a decade. Because the 6 seed in the AFC is so week the Bengals can actually make a run for it if they win here. Expect an easy Cincinnati victory against a team ready to just pack it in.

Broncos +5.5 @ Raiders: The Broncos have been a joke since their hot start prompting the legendary John Elway to call them soft. The Broncos have not responded well to those comments but the good news is Paxton Lynch is finally healthy enough to start. Lynch is nothing to write home about but is much better than the other 2 stiffs the Broncos have used at quarterback this season. The Raiders didn't show up in Mexico and now they are expected to cover this number as a favourite. No thanks. Take the dog in a bad football game!!

I also lean Calgary minus the 7 in the Grey Cup. Enjoy the games everyone.
