According to a source in WWE, the XFL is currently in negotiations to broadcast its games, once the league officially launches in 2020.

The source indicates that the XFL has spoken to NBCU and Fox about broadcasting their games.

Although the discussions are only initial, both networks will already be broadcasting WWE television in 2020, when the XFL launches.  Vince McMahon is heavily involved in both companies, as the CEO of WWE, and the founder of Alpha Entertainment.

It remains to be seen how this could potentially affect the NFL's deal with Fox, who broadcasts NFL games on Sunday's, and going forward will broadcast most NFL games on Thursday Night's.

Barn Burner's own Brad Shepard was the journalist who broke the story of the XFL return, on December 15th, 2017, even indicating when the official announcement would be made by Vince McMahon.
