AHL/CCM Player of the Week
Defenceman for the Rockford IceHogs, Adam Clendening has been selected the AHL/CCM Player of the week in the American league. The 25 years old D collected 7 points, including 2 goals and 5 assists in 3 games last week. He helped his team solidify their playoff position in the Central division.
Since joining the IceHogs, Clendening has been on fire, tallying 28 points in 32 games. Rockford is on a tear lately and have a 9-1-1-1 record over their last 12 games. Talk about momentum.
Monthly awards for March
Player of the month:
Chris Terry, from the Laval Rocket was named the AHL/CCM Player of the month. With 21 points in 16 games, Terry participated in an incredible 54 percent of Laval’s scoring. With 7 goals and 14 assists, terry is now second in race for the scoring title and tied for 4th place for goals with 29.
Rookie of the month:
Syracuse Crunch forward, Mathieu Joseph has been named the AHL/CCM Player of the month. Selected in the 4th round, the first year pro collected 15 points in 12 games, including 5 goals and 10 assists. The Laval native is now tied for 3rd spot among all rookies in the AHL with 52 points in 66 games.
Goaltender of the month:
Goaltender for the Chicago Wolves, Oscar Dansk is you AHL/CCM goaltender of the month. Over 9 games, Dansk piled up a record of 6 wins, 1 loss and 2 overtime/shootout losses.
On the season Dansk is 10-1-3 in 14 outings with Chicago. The native from Sweden also made his NHL debut with the Vegas Golden Knights earlier this season.
